Stick with your main characters, especially if you don't plan on buying the Golden Pack DLC.For Lunatic +, you absolutely must have the Golden Pack DLC based on my experience.Final note: Do not attempt a Lunatic/Lunatic + playthrough if you hate grinding or have mild OCD. I'll agree with the rest, Fire Emblem isn't casual. All the SMT games are challenging, but it seems you already know that. Also SMT: Strange Journey for the original DS works on the 3DS.Monster Hunter is a difficult series. Try the demo until you get used to the combat (you can beat the first boss easily). That'll give you an idea if you'll like the gameplay, but keep in mind there's more to it. Like the crafting system.Gunman Clive on hard is a good challenge, but not overly difficult.Liberation Maiden on hard is a fun arcadey challenge.

Very challenging platformer. Haha, what's up?I actually didn't really get hooked by SMT IV until after I was out of Naraku. It was definitely easier in the beginning, but once you leave more quests and sidequests are available. I found it more challenging at first because I was just doing the main quests, but once I started doing more side quests, leveling up my demons (and myself), and fusing as much as I could, I found it a lot easier. I'm pretty new to the SMT games though, so maybe it was just challenging to me while I got to know how the game worked.
