(1 Page)Eugene's Quest: Give him 25 coins for a bounce potion, use the bounce potion on the purple mushroom to his right to restore its bounce and retrieve the Mervil page from the top of the mount. (1 page)Jack's Quest: Collect the 'wood' item from the fallen tree near the Rock Tossing enemies, use the wood beside the posts at the top the waterfall to re-build the bridge.
Cross the bridge to obtain two Mervils Pages. (2 Pages)Hidden Area: To the left of the waterfall their are bubbles, touch the bubbles and you will teleport to the hidden area. Tina's Quest: Use your head to balance on the tightrope, by moving your head forward your player will walk forward (make sure to actually lean forward A LOT so that your player moves quickly through the wind), and by moving your head side to side your player will move side to side. There is one Mervil Page after the first tightrope is complete. (1 page)Edmund's Quest: Find the symbols on the trees with moving green leaves, there are small white symbols on the branches and the correct order is the 'triangle squiggle', 'pointy star', then the 'circle with the dot in the middle'. One page is the reward from the chest. (1 page)Merlyn's Quest: Collect the orb that is flying around the platform after talking to Merlyn, the best spots to collect it are either on top of the cave or go in the teleport portal behind the waterfall that brings you to the top of the waterfall.
Use the orb on the next platform at the highest stone tower. One page is given once completed. (1 Page)Emma's Quest: Collect the bounce potion she gives you and use it on the mushroom with blue sparkles beside the cave. Bounce on the mushroom to collect the page on top of the cave.
(1 page)Edgar's Quest: Talk to Edgar and give him 25 coins for a bomb, use the bomb on the cage blocking the entrance to the cave, open the treasure chest in the cave to find one Mervil Page. Birch's Quest: Talk to Mr. Birch and protect his workers from the enemies coming out the caves, if the workers have 6 or more hearts remaining by the time they reach the tree then you will receive two keys to open chests that each have one page inside each. If you received zero or one key you can redo the quest to get the other. (2 pages)Zakar's Quest: Find Zakar's hidden scrolls, one is behind the waterfall, one is down the hill after jumping over the third spike trap, and one is behind a rock after jumping on the 4 mushrooms leading to the tower on the top of the platform with 3 caves.
You are rewarded with two Mervil pages. (2 pages)Dark Key: Blast through the air in the cannon to collect the dark key floating in the air, use it on the treasure chest directly below it. Receive one Mervil page from the chest. (1 Page)Hidden Page: There is one hidden page at the top of the waterfall platform that has the second cannon on it.
Use the farthest cannon by the End Portal to shoot and land on top of the waterfall, there is one Mervil page to be collected. (1 page)Hidden Area: Is located beside the woodcutter on the platform with the 'Dark Key' floating above it. There are blue sparkles on a shield beside the woodcutter, once touched you will teleport to the hidden area. Clyde's Quest: Turn off the turrets shooting fireballs, once all 5 are turned off, return to Clyde for his reward. One Mervils page given.
(1 page)Leroy's Quest: Collect key from the first spike traps when you start the level, use the key on the chest beside the first house on the lower platform area, collect an axe head. Complete Edward's Quest and collect the 'Handle' and Mervil Page from the chest. Return to Leroy with Axe Head and Handle, he will cut down the tree and give you two piles of wood logs.Edward's Quest: Guide the key through the labyrinth using your head or motion controller. The chest rewards you with Leroy's Axe handle (above) and one Mervil page. (1 page)Flin's Quest: Give the bundles of wood you received from Leroy to Flin and he will craft you wooden ballista bolt shafts (without the diamond tips).Crystal's Quest: Collect the diamonds from the floating platforms on the east and west side of the level. Give Crystal the diamonds and she will make you diamond ballista bolt heads.Magnus' Quest: Once you have the ballista bolt shafts from Flin and the diamond bolt heads from Crystal, Magnus can put them together to make complete Diamond Ballista Bolts to kill the Dragon.Boss Fight 'Darthate the Dragon': Use the complete diamond ballista bolts on the Ballista to start the boss fight, the Dragon has 4 weak spots with 3 hearts on each spot, his head, torso, and the top of the left & right wing.
The left and right wing are the hardest to hit so wait for him to attack the castle for an easier shot at them. Once you defeat the dragon their are 10 pages on his body.Hidden Page: There is a hidden page behind the castle.Hidden Area: To the west of the castle there is a trap door with blue sparkles on it, jump on it to teleport to the hidden area. Charles Quest: Pass through the gates to his right and jump on the platforms to retrieve the Sun Orb.
The Sun Orb is used later on in the level.Hidden Area: The hidden area is located beside the house on the back right corner of the first platform. Jump on the trap door to enter.First Platform: Destroy all plant monsters to obtain a key. The key can be used on the chest in the back left corner of the first platform.Shakura's Quest: Press the Sun Puzzle buttons in the correct order. The order is clockwise, from the one that points to 12 O'clock, then 2 O'clock, then 4 O'clock, then 7 O'clock, then 10 O'clock.
The door will open to move on in the level.Colored Flame Quest: There are 3 large flames and within each symbol on the large pillar there is a color. Starting from the left, the color's are Orange, Purple, then Green. Use the smaller pillars with the same symbols to change the larger pillars to the correct color. Red and yellow makes Orange, Blue and Red makes Purple, and Blue and Yellow makes Green. The door will open to move on in the level.Ramses' Quest: Dig on the 'X' on the middle/ right side of the platform with the red X's on the ground. You will find the Sun Book and Ramses will grant access to the next part of the level.Hidden Pages: Dig up all spots marked with an X to find hidden treasure chests and pages.Ra's Quest: Give the Sun Orb you collected on the very first platform to Ra.
He will light the pillars that you need to rotate into the correct positions. The 'helmet' icons on all three pillars should face to the center of the middle platform (with the Mervil Pages floating above it). Once completed a light shaft will spawn that allows you to collect the two floating pages and a King Cobra will appear after you have collected them so be ready!Ancient Cave (left): The ancient cave can be opened by obtaining the 'Snake Oil' after defeating the King Cobra and using it on the wheel to grease it up. You can then spin the wheel to open the cave door and collect the two Mervil pages.Ancient Cave (right): The ancient cave to the right can be opened by using your head or motion controller to move the key through the labyrinth. The cave will open once complete and you can collect the two Mervil pages.Bacchus Quest (final platform): Move the orbs with light beams to light the 9 orbs without light. The pattern to do this looks like. Hidden area: Go to the far right side of the bottom platform and jump in the well.
You will teleport to the hidden area from there.Stetson's Quest: Find the bomb in the treasure chest behind the 4 Tentacle monsters in the first half of the top platform. Use the bomb in the well to undam the waterfall, this also allows you to use the mine-cart to cross to the other side of the platform.Blue Runes Quest: The first Blue Rune is found behind the cave that teleports you up/down the mountain side. The rune is used on the teleport rune pillar at the back of the platform behind the mine-cart pushing puzzle. The second blue rune is found behind the troll on the second half of the platform and used on the teleport rune pillar behind the jumping mushroom enemies.
Once both are lit you teleport to a secret location with colorful trees and a chest can be opened to find a Mervil page.Angus's Quest: Push the cart to highlighted area. (More than one solution.) Once complete, collect key and use to open chest and receive Mervil Page.Graham's Quest: Rotate the moon stones to reflect light into pattern. TRICK: All stones (except the outside ones) point directly to the center, once all pointing to the center, a light shaft will appear allowing you to fly up to the floating Mervil Page.Dakota's Quest: Jump on the bones from the largest to smallest ones on both sides. Once complete the troll will fall asleep and you can open both chests behind him.
The one chest has a bomb and the other has the Blue Rune needed for the Blue Rune quest. (use the bomb on the well to get across to Morax the Boss when you're ready)Barrick's Quest: Destroy all jumping mushrooms to receive a Mervil Page.Landon's Quest: Hit floating targets to receive Mervil pages as a reward.
Holding the side of your HMD seems to help get better scores.Boss Fight 'Morax The Rock Monster': Dig on the X in Morax's area to find the bomb, use the bomb on the third well and undam the last waterfall. Morax will wake up and the fight will begin. Dodge his rocks and enemies, and wait for him to smash the ground. Attack him at the opportune times and to avoid getting hit just keep moving, don't stay in one spot for too long! Merrick's Quest: Merrick will give you one 'Absolute Zero' potion to freeze the lava geysers in the middle of the first platform.
The second potion can be found in a crystal on the far platform after shooting through the cannon and the last one is found beside the bridge to the left of the middle platform leading to the Ice Monster. Press the interact button when you're close to the geysers to freeze them. Once all three are frozen a Mervil Page and 'Ball of Fire' will appear.Walter's Quest: Talk to Walter and his children will give you three gold stars. Shoot through the cannon while aiming at the empty star slots above the large pine tree with presents below it. Once all three stars are placed on the tree Walter will reward you with a Mervil page and a 'Mervil Heart of Joy'.Ice Monster: Once sucked into the Ice monster's belly, attack the 3 areas with hearts above them, once you've destroyed the monster he will spit you back out and you are rewarded with two Mervil pages.Melt Merlyn: On the far platform, use the 'Ball of Fire' you obtain from the geysers quest to melt Merlyn. Once he is melted to can pick up the 'Magical Water'.Mary's Quest: On the first platform Mary needs something better than water to grow her carrots in the winter.
Use the magical water (from melting Merlyn) on her garden to grow the carrots. You can then collect a 'Carrot' and a Mervil page from her.Zakar's Challenge: Zakar has turned against you and Merlyn and is now trying to defeat you, talk to him, then use the catapult to destroy his trolls that attack you then destroy him. When attacking him in the second stage try to aim at the top of his head or his feet in order to not get blocked by his fire ball attacks.Making a Mervil Snowman/ Creature: Roll 3 snowballs toward the platform in the center of the large igloo, then collect the branches at the back left corner of that platform and use them on the almost built snowman, then use the 'carrot' on him, finally use the Mervil Heart of Joy to transform the snowman into a snow creature that helps protect the Mervils when you leave. Epic astro story. He will give you two Mervil Pages and spawn a portal that leads to the next level.Hidden Area: Is on the last platform in the back right corner by one of the snowballs. Jump in the ice/water hole to teleport to the hidden area.
Boss Fight 'Balazar/ Ramaug the Fire King': There are three stages to this boss fight.Stage 1: Grab the Ice Hammers that Merlyn spawns to you and hit the rock runes that are floating around the fire monster. Once each rune is hit twice the teleport portals will be activated to your left and right.Stage 2: Go through the teleport portals and collect the Ice Hammers that Merlyn spawns on each platform. Hit the fire monster directly until he has zero hearts.Stage 3: Merlyn will teleport you to the middle platform and the fire monster will shrink. There are 4 cylinders that you need to fill up and once all four are filled an Ice attack will be cast at the fire monster. Do this twice and you will freeze him completely and save the Arctic World from being melted!Hidden Area: Once you have defeated the fire monster there is a trap door to the left of the portal to the Home World. Jump on the trap door to enter the hidden area. Captain J.T Willager Quest: Find 3 Cannon ball piles, a Map, and 3 crew members.
Meet him at the far side of the bay area.Barrel Stacking Quests: Use your head or motion controller to stack barrels in pyramid like pattern in order to retrieve the floating Mervil pages.Grace's Quest: The yellow cork/ palm tree furthest away from Grace can be hit and a cork will fall from the tree.Alonzo's Quest: This is the quest to find the treasure map, the answer to the first riddle is 'Map', the second is 'Dawn', and the third is 'Lost'. Follow the trail until you find the treasure chest with the Treasure Map inside.Old Man Jones Quest: Move the cage so you can jump on the wooden towers, press the button to activate the fan that blows the wooden platform upwards.
Jump up the platforms quickly to retrieve the 'Lucky Dagger' and give it to Old Man Jones for a Mervil page and a Crew Contract.Rusty's Quest: Use the cork on the side of the sunken ship to fix it. His ship will float again and he rewards you with a Mervil page and a Crew Contract.Two Cages with Pages: Destroy the Pirate Goblins guarding those cages and use the keys they spawn to open the cages, there are 2 pages within each cage.Potion Girl Quest: Find a Red Fish, a Purple Tulip, and a Dead Root to make a water cleansing potion. The Fish is swimming quickly around the bay, the root is by the large Purple Pirate Goblins, and tulip is by the burning ship.
She gives a water cleansing potion to use on the black water in front of her and rewards you with two Mervil pages.Merchant Quest: Give the Merchant a red ruby in exchange for 500 coins. The red ruby is in a chest in the small pond area to the left of where you begin the level.Purple Goblin Quest: Get in the barrel by the purple goblins to hide from them. Once inside their zone DO NOT move if the marker above there head appears. Only move when the marker above their head disappears. Grab the 3 cannonballs by moving in the barrel close to them to collect them.Gerault Quest: Show Gerault the 2 Crew Contracts you got from Old Man Jones and Rusty and he will join your crew.
Collect all the contracts after showing them to him.Captain J.T Willager Quest (far side of island): Show him the Treasure Map, 3 cannonballs, and 3 crew contracts and he will open the portal to the next level.Hidden Area: A goblin is guarding a hut under the large mountain in the middle of the level. Jump into the door to go inside the hidden area. Riding Sharks: Jump on the head of sharks to ride them and bounce on the pink coral to find 4 TNT barrels.Carpy Fish Quest: Talk to Carpy and use the 4 TNT barrels on the pile of barrels to his left.Dead Coral Quest: Find a Coral Potion behind the tall coral structure directly in front of you when you spawn.Four Treasure Chests: There are 4 keys to treasure chests hidden on the first side of the platform.
Each has a Mervil Page inside.Final Jumping Puzzle: Jump on the dead fish and a shark will spawn and eat it. Jump on the sharks and barrels to reach the large treasure chest with a 'Secret Message' hidden inside, Merlyn will appear and bring you to the final cutscene before battling Balazar.Hidden Area: The hidden area is beside the treasure chest in the middle of the level. Jump into the pipe/ well with blue sparkles to access it. Balazar Fight Stage 1: Balazar will spawn 1, then 2, then 3 enemies with torches you will have to defeat. You can use your head or motion controller to aim and shoot Waterfall Spells at them.Balazar Fight Stage 2: Balazar will spawn 1, then 2, then 3 enemies that shoot poison darts at you.
You can use or head or motion controller to aim and shoot Rock Spells at them.Balazar Fight Stage 3: Balazar will now attack you directly, and he has both a fire blast attack and lightening attack. The fire blast attack shoots three streams of fire and lightening attack shoots 8-10 small lightening particles.
Jumping away works to defend against both attacks. You will only have about 3 seconds to attack him before he moves so be quick with your spells.Balazar Fight Stage 4: Balazar attacks you for the final time.
He has 4 goblins that spawn and shoot poison darts, and he has 3 attacks. One is green spikes that spawn in the direction you move to, one is a black magical spell that he shoots directly at you and the final is streams of black smoke that rise from the ground. Again, jumping away defends these the best but be sure to attack him quickly after he attacks you, you only have about 2 seconds before he moves again. Also, don't worry about killing the green goblins, they will die if you kill Balazar. At the end, grab the key and free Merlyn from the cage!
I got pretty close on this one today. Seems two good ones to pick are the Goblin Witch and the Berzerker.With Goblin Witch, spam Chasm as much as possible and pick rows that have as many purple gems as possible.
She should last into the second round with this. I picked the Rakshasha for the first opponent.She went down partway through on the second. So up next was the bezerker. This is easier. Spam Enrage + Beserk Rage. Make sure with Beserk Rage that you pick a gem color that would line up a row of four skulls. Then use Enrage again to build up more red gems.
Keep repeating this, your opponent shouldn't get very many turns and you'll be doing around 40-50 damage per shot.I picked the Chieftain for the second opponent, probably could have picked something better. Just don't pick the ghoul, wraith, or berzerker. Third one was the imp, that's definitely the best for third time around because the imp does crappy damage and the worst you might get is improbable defense.Died in the last round though, definitely made a mistake picking the minotaur.
Hellhound will also be a bad one. I'm thinking here that the elven assassin may be the best one. Still, making it to the fourth round with my second hero is the best I've done so far.
The trick is definitely to get someone with lower defense and won't be able to resist your spells.If anyone wishes to add or suggest better stuff, I'm all ears. Just want to get my last two achievements already.
Congrats on getting 100%.It took me 5 tries to get Underdog.The monster I chose was the Skeleton. He's seriously overpowered (I found this out when I had to fight against him).He gets 95+ defense with Spine of Bones for only 18 blue mana 12 out of 13 turns.And Brace reduces the damage taken to 25%, rounded down. For only 5 yellow mana, and it can be recast before it expires.And most importantly these two spells do not end your turn.Whenever too many skulls are in play you can just use Bone Reaper to remove them all.He also has crazy high stats, 40+ on all but intelligence.And a 15+ damage sword for usually 10 AP. You can basically swing every time you match AP (and crit half the time).In case someone else trying to get this using the Skeleton I would recommend choosing opponents that do not have high armor, do not have skills that improve their armor, do not have skills that decrease you armor and do not have dots or poisons.A good match up is the Necromancer on tier 3, and the Minotaur on tier 4 (really hard if you are unlucky, but I think the other 6 choices are even worse).
