The Sims 3 Seasons is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3. Rated 5 out of 5 by KLNAN from Great Service The purchase and download from GameStop was a good experience. I would definitely order from them again. My complaint is with EA making it where I would not recommend this product. Once downloaded and installed my game crashes a few minutes into play.
As with all expansions, adds a bunch of new content to play with. However, unlike the other expansions, the changes looks to be a shorter list. While most expansions make grand, sweeping changes to the engine, Seasons is more focused on the details, the new objects, and the new animations. As usual, this list is ordered from least significant change to most significant.New Objects, Clothes, and Hairstyles The number and depth of new objects in is stronger and more varied than any other expansion pack; however, they make less of a dramatic impact object-to-object. Almost every new object is or can be a social object.Clothes and hairstyles are pretty standard: welcome additions, but nothing earth-shattering.
Still, it all helps to add more variety to your neighborhoods and really personalize and customize your experience.Outerwear All Sims have a new outfit called 'Outerwear.' Sims will generally change into this in cold weather when they step outside. Wearing it will slow or outright stop any damage due to a cold temperature, but makes things worse if worn during hot weather. As with all outfits, this can be customized or in or at dressers.Illness. Sims may now draw illnesses from cold weather, co-workers, or family members. When a Sim is sick, they draw a two-day debuff that severely affects their moods.
Their tends to suffer, and they may override any current command to go vomit into the nearest toilet. If the Sim has a job or school, he or she can call off due to illness with a phone call.Sims can easily spread viruses, but you can decrease the chance to do so by immunizing your family. For $200 each, your Sims can get flu shots in and to protect themselves for the year.Leisure Day The last day of every season is called 'Leisure Day,' a nice holiday where Sims can take a break from working while still being paid. You won't gain any job progress, but it gives you an extra day to work on skills if you need to, or otherwise work on relationships and relaxation! You can see when the next Leisure Day will be by going into any Sim's career page. A red circle indicates which day is Leisure Day. Note: The day before Leisure Day, the Sim's career page will still imply that he needs to go to work. You can ignore this; the car pool won't show up, and the 'Next shift' timer will reset when the time comes.
Aliens Aliens are the newest supernatural race added to the Sims 3 universe. Even with the latest patch, aliens cannot be created outright in, and instead must first be befriended by a family member. More information can be found in the section of the wiki.Weather Sims will now experience weather changes day-to-day, and possibly within the same day. Mario kart ds emulator online.
Sims can check the weekly forecast with a specific command from any computer or TV.Weather has a significant impact on your Sims' health. Cooler weather increases the chance your Sim will get sick, but precipitation can create fun moments for the family, such as splashing in puddles or building snowmen.Sims can suffer sunburns or frostbite in appropriate conditions. You can reduce the chance of that happening by dressing your Sims appropriately. They'll generally automatically wear appropriate clothing, but sometimes (such as if they're at a party) they make the wrong decision. Stick to swimwear in hot weather, and outerwear in cold weather. All houses are automatically climate-controlled, so no matter what the temperature is, Sims will be fine indoors.Weather can be somewhat customized. View the page of the wiki for more details.Festivals The Festival Grounds replace your neighborhood's main park.
Every season brings a new festival with different activities where your Sims can increase relationships or make new friends, earn tickets for prizes, and generally relax between those long work days. For some neighborhoods, such as Riverview, will have their festival grounds in a different lot since they may not have a large park. The neighborhoods are properly patched however, so when you create a new neighborhood, everything will be in the right place. If you're using an old save file, you'll be prompted to replace the appropriate lot for the festival grounds.Even if your festival grounds are in a different lot rather than the park, all of the standard festival features will be present. They just might be a bit more crowded!Seasons The titular seasons are examined individually for the wiki. Check the, and pages for more information.
