I was bit worried because mordhau is already out for quite some time and I thought I would get mocked by god-like players for being bad, just like in many other.
Mordhau's back and it's better than ever baby!!! A couple of days ago they announced the release date, which is the April 29th!

Mordhau is an upcoming multiplayer medieval combat game in the vein of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare and War of the Roses. It also features large-scale battles, mounted combat and siege warfare similar to Mount & Blade. It promises an impressively fluid, free-form combat system and extensive customization options, with the ultimate goal being to strike a balance between gameplay and realism while avoiding the pitfalls of the genre. The game is currently being developed by Triternion, a small international team of developers.

Mordhau is a game of patience. Keep a cool head and keep on practicing. Some newbie tips:
-Wear T3 armor when trying to practice things. Keeps you alive longer. Even someone who's cleaving through rookies has to stop for a moment to deal with someone in full plate. Also, wear a loving helmet.
-Learn to parry late, and learn to parry the top of people's weapons, not their torsos.
-Learn dragging/accelerating. It's the 'turn your hips' part of the tutorial. Moving your mouse while swinging your weapon will allow you to connect attacks faster and from better angles.
-Learn weapon ranges and arcs! Always try and stay just out of reach of swords, or try and move real close against hafted weapons likes spears and pole-weapons. Footwork is super important, try not to ever be standing still!
