About Genre Strategy Summary Fantasy General is the true heir to Panzer General. What makes this game so great is the pacing. Each campaign starts out easy and as you progress and conquer more land the game becomes more difficult, which is a great thing and makes learning the game a snap.
Fantasy General II: Invasion is the reimagination of the strategy game classic from the 90s! Armies once again draw battle-lines on the war-torn land of Keldonia, and a new generation of commanders will test their bravery and tactics against each other. Fantasy wargaming is back! There's also a turn limit imposed in each battle which makes the player try to achieve the victory objectives quickly, and makes for more exciting battle. Another great thing about this game is the enormous amount of units: there's close to 200 different units to play with. The game also features army management. Without careful management of your troops - such as researching new unit types, upgrading obsolete unites, etc.- it'll become impossible to win the game. The game also includes magic, a must in a fantasy strategy game.
And although the magic system is not as good as in Heroes of Might & Magic or Master of Magic, it is still a good addition.

The Humans A middle-of-the-road race with tough, decently strong units, larger and best defensive options (who said Terran?), amazing cavalry and an economy mostly based on trickles (sheep are the way) but which can be helped by some looting from time to time. As you can imagine, this is the race most new players choose to begin with.For each race, you will have to choose between 3 regions, each one having its pros and its cons. Focus more on the unit types pros/cons in order to have an army as much close to your 'style' as you wish.
